Ophthalmic Assistant Program

ACE and its partners (Piedmont Eye Center, Region 2000 Workforce Center, Virginia Employment Commission, and the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services) are excited to announce the start of a new customized integrated education and training program for individuals who are interested in becoming Ophthalmic Assistants. Upon entering and completing the contextualized course and workforce preparation activities, participants will be interviewed for the Ophthalmic Assistant training program at Piedmont Eye Center (PEC).

Since its regionalization in 2007, Adult and Career Education of Central Virginia (ACE) has sought to meet the various needs of adults in the community.
