"I feel so proud of myself because I never gave up on my dreams. I know I can do anything I put my mind [to]!"

There are many things that 23-year-old Tat'Tiana Farmer, a mother of two boys, loves: singing, cooking, and believe it or not - math! When she was 18 years old as a senior at Heritage High School in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2015, she only had two months left until graduation and walking across the stage. However, she chose to drop out instead.

Years later, she decided to return to the world of education and get her GED through ACE's program. It took her a couple of years, but Ta'Tiana was persistent. "I never gave up due to my strong support from my mom," she explains. "I [chose] to start the program because I wanted to be something in life and for my kids as well."

Since receiving her GED last year, Ta'Tiana has enrolled in the Certified Pharmacy Technician Program, where she is currently finishing up to take her final exam in August.

"I feel so proud of myself because I never gave up on my dreams," Ta'Tiana exclaims. "I know I can do anything I put my mind [to]!"

We know you can too, Ta'Tiana, and we are so proud of you for all you have accomplished! Congratulations again for your success!
