English Classes/ELA

English Language classes introduce students to basic and advanced grammar and vocabulary of the English language through the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students learn strategies in order to advance their reading, listening and pronunciation skills. They learn to write complete sentences, paragraphs, and short essays. Students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills to function in educational and vocational contexts.
