IET programs are accelerated classes designed for career pathways developed in collaboration between ACE and its workforce system partners. Classes are focused on a specific, in-demand industry or industry cluster, with the goal of promoting educational and career advancement. Cost: $50 per course. If you are dual enrolled, the cost of an additional course may be waived — ask ACE staff how to request it.

Short-term maintenance training with hands-on instruction designed to build foundational skills for entry-level maintenance and facilities-related careers. Students work with real tools and real tasks, guided by an instructor with field experience.

An introductory information technology course covering basic IT fundamentals. It helps learners determine whether they have an aptitude for IT and builds toward a high-demand industry certification. No prior experience needed. IT jobs are expected to double in the near future, and these are certifications employers actively ask for.

Provided by CAPAZ-IT. Prepares bilingual adults to work as interpreters in clinical and behavioral health settings. Successful completion leads to a certificate of completion that is industry-standard equivalent for interpreting work in clinical settings. Reported salary for interpreters and translators is $49,110 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. AHLEI's Guest Service Gold® training program leads to the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP®) designation. It is recommended for use in every workforce program to build the guest service skills that are critical in the hospitality industry, and the credential travels with the student between employers.

A comprehensive program preparing students for the CNA certification exam and a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, combining an orientation, virtual coursework, on-site skills labs, and clinical rotations at a partner facility. Program structure (about 5 weeks): Orientation, 2 hours in person · Virtual coursework, 23 chapters over about 5 weeks with weekly due dates · Skills labs, 8 days, 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. · Clinicals, 5 days, 6:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. · Lab refresher near the end of the program · State certification exam after program completion

A nationally recognized 16-hour advanced food safety and sanitation course and exam developed by the National Restaurant Association, offered through a partnership between Virginia Cooperative Extension, CVCC Workforce Development, and Campbell County Schools Adult Education. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants and pre-registration by appointment is required.
