NEDP stands for National External Diploma Program, a web-based, self-study program that allows adults to earn a high school diploma without attending classes or taking tests.
The program is self-guided and adaptable, with a local assessor who offers advice but does not provide instruction.
Participants demonstrate their skills through a series of tasks that are designed to mimic real-life situations, such as writing a resume or calculating interest on a loan. These tasks evaluate various skills, including reading, writing, math, digital literacy, oral communication, critical thinking, and workplace readiness.
Assessments must be completed before enrollment.
